Published

Val Kilmer is to recording an album about his life with Blur frontman Damon Albarn. The Hollywood heartthrob, who is currently starring in London's West End play has struck up an unlikely friendship with the pop star at a showbiz party in the capital.

Val reportedly told him he would be a dream collaborator for the as-yet untitled album saying: "I feel I've got an album in me based on my life, and you're the only man on this planet who can make it happen for me."

The pair were later seen singing together at a mutual friend's barbeque. The star, who has previously demonstrated his credentials for fronting a rock group with impersonations in past films of both Jim Morrison and Elvis, has since been telling friends he can't wait to get into the studio with Damon.
