Clueless star takes a tumble

Alicia Silverstone was left red-faced when she took a tumble at the GQ Men of the Year Awards. The Hollywood actress tripped and fell as she left the star-studded party at London's Royal Opera House.

Sources claim Alicia's fall came after she had been enjoying a drink at the showbiz bash. One onlooker said: "She really let her hair down. But when she left the venue it all got too much and she tripped over and fell in a heap."

Last month, the newlywed star revealed how she had to hide in a cardboard box to escape newshounds chasing her through an airport.

The Clueless star said she was so terrified when snappers gave chase - shouting the cruel jibe "fat girl" - she jumped inside a container and laid low until the crowd had disappeared.

The sexy actress, who earned the nasty nickname after she dressed in a tight PVC catsuit which showed off her curves as Bat Girl in movie Batman, said she has always been sensitive about her appearance and the incident left her mortified.

The beautiful actress said: "I was walking through LA airport and saw a group of photographers. They suddenly gave chase, screaming, Hey, Fat Girl! I just had to escape. I ended up hiding in a box."
