The trailer for season 3 of “Izingane Zes’thembu” has officially dropped, and there appears to be trouble in paradise for Tirelo Kale and Mpumelelo Mseleku.

The new season, which is a spin-off of the popular show “Uthando Nes’thembu”, continues to follow the lives of the five older Mseleku siblings - Mpumelelo, Mpilo, Sne, Lwandle, and Abongwe - as they navigate the ups and downs of young adulthood

It is set to bring even more drama and explosive moments, and the trailer has already hinted at some major conflicts, one of which is Tirelo being fed up with Mpumelelo’s infidelity and is contemplating leaving the relationship.

Mpumelelo seems to be on the same page, as he is seen telling his father, Musa Mseleku, that he no longer sees a future with Tirelo after being asked if marrying Tirelo is still the plan.

Tirelo is also seen speaking to Musa about Mpumelelo’s infidelity, saying he has another girlfriend whom he is planning to pay lobola (bride price) for. This development comes as no surprise, given Mpumelelo’s history of complicated relationships.

In previous seasons, viewers witnessed the intense drama between Mpumelelo and his baby mamas, Tirelo and Vuyokazi. It seems like Mpumelelo’s ways have not changed much. Will Tirelo’s decision to leave be the final straw?

The older sister, Sne, has also had her fair share of challenges. This season, she is tired of feeling like an outsider, and she is ready to claim her space in the family. However, she is still not on the same page as some of her siblings, particularly Mpilo, whom she has previously claimed does not like her.

The dramatic trailer suggests that their strained relationship is still just that: strained. With Sne continuing to be the black sheep of the family, it remains to be seen if she will be able to mend her relationship with her sister, Mpilo.

Season 3 of “Izingane Zes’thembu” is set to air on May 25 at 7pm on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161).
