Manifestation is often the first step in asking the universe to grant you, your desires. Just ask YouTuber and content creator Lasizwe Dambuza.
Dambuza shared several names of South Africa’s top media personalities a week ago that he would like to have on his show, “Awkward Dates.”
Among the names on his list was former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, and as the saying goes, ask and you shall receive. “Kinda nervous, on an awkward date with Miss Universe!” Dambuza captioned a carousel of pictures with him and Tunzi.
Dambuza’s date with the people’s forever Miss Universe airs on YouTube on Thursday. Tunzi recently said “I Do” to the love of her life Luthando Bolowana. Tunzi, on March 22, 2025, wed her husband at Cape Wineland's wedding venue, Belair Pavilion.
Dambuza’s fans congratulated him on landing one of his dream guests and shared how they hoped he asked her all the juicy questions.
@cleopatra_de_nile16 said: “The fact that you managed to get your own tv slot for what started out as a small show already shows just how phenomenal and universal it's about to go ❤️ Congratulations @lasizwe ,you did that !!!🎉🎉🎉”
Since launching in 2022, "Awkward Dates" has become known for its unfiltered, sometimes uncomfortable questions. Dambuza has gone on dates with EFF leader Julius Malema, top broadcaster Anele Mdoda, award-winning rapper Priddy Ugly and top actor Kenneth Nkosi.
On his wish list, Dambuza has TV personality Bonang Matheba, Grammy winner Tyla, viral sensation Uncle Waffles and "Shaka iLembe" lead Thembinkosi Mthembu.
As “Awkward Dates” continues to grow, it’s even on national television now, any guest is possible.
