Kim Kardashian has subtly addressed the fake graduation claims after taking to social media to celebrate her law graduation, sharing that her journey was real.
Kardashian has caused a buzz on the internet after friends and family were sharing her graduation ceremony content on their Instagram stories on May 21, celebrating her achievement.
While her sister, Khloe Kardashian, told her fans that it was a “surprise lunch” on her Instagram stories, many publications online claimed that it was a backyard graduation ceremony.
The “Skims” founder took to social media on May 22, and opened up about her law journey which took her six years to complete.
She captioned her post: “Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. It wasn't easy, and it took longer than planned, but I never gave up. Each course brought moments of doubt, tears and triumph - especially when I conquered subjects I initially feared.”
She also shared that the beauty of life is to step into the unknown, push through and receive knowledge that no one will take away from you.
“I chose a rigorous program registered with the California State Bar, building on 75 college credits to complete a four-year curriculum that stretched to six. The journey was real, and so is the accomplishment,” she added.
Kardashian proceeded to thank her mentors for helping her in her journey as well as people who are involved in the Prison Reform programme with her that she uses to help advocate for the release of prisoners who are wrongly convicted.
Fans, friends and family congratulated the media personality on her achievement.
“Congratulations, Kim, you are doing amazing, sweetie,” a social media user wrote.
Another social media said: “Proof that beauty and brains can coexist flawlessly. Thanks for inspiring us to embrace both.”
Kardashian has always been candid about her law journey on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and always shared that her dad, Robert Kardashian Sr, has always been her inspiration and one of the reasons why she embarked on this journey.
The mother of four has undeniably proven that she is a hard worker. From attending events, to acting, filming her family’s reality show and managing her business while studying, that alone speaks volumes.
