Engagement buzz: are 'Izingane Zes’thembu' stars Tirelo Kale and Mpumelelo Mseleku tying the knot?

Season 3 of “Izingane Zes’thembu” has returned with another drama-filled and heated season, with the first episode airing on Sunday, May 25.

The reality TV show already has viewers talking as the first episode revealed a glimpse of what is yet to come.

Two of the cast members who are serving most of the drama are Tirelo Kale and her boyfriend, Mpumelelo Mseleku.

The couple, who share a child, Singabakho Mseleku, has been giving their fans plenty to talk about with the latest season of the reality show, hinting there might be more to their relationship than meets the eye.

Recently, a picture of Kale rocking an engagement ring has been circulating on the internet, sparking speculation that the two might be tying the knot. 

X user, @ZeeRight, shared a video screenshot of Kale posing for the camera with her eyes closed, showing off her giant rock.

While neither of them has confirmed the news, their Instagram posts have been fuelling rumours of an impending proposal. A joint post by Mseleku has fans convinced that they are hiding something special, and the comments are buzzing with curiosity.

Adding to the speculation is a post on Mseleku’s Instagram feed, where he appears to be celebrating with friends, referring to him as “umkwenyana”, a term that translates to “groom” in English.

This, combined with rumours that he might have paid ilobola (bride price) for Kale, has led many to believe that the couple is indeed engaged.

Although these are just speculations circulating on the internet, in a recent interview with “Independent Media Lifestyle”, leading up to the airing of the reality TV show, Kale opened up about the cracks forming in her relationship with Mseleku.

She revealed that they do have issues, which adds a layer of complexity to the current speculation.

Interestingly, the show itself has hinted at some drama brewing in Mseleku’s chaotic love life. In the opening sequence, a mysterious woman is seen alongside him, although her face is not shown.

Furthermore, teasers for upcoming episodes show Mseleku paying lobola, but it is still unclear whether it’s for the mother of his child, Kale or his new mystery woman. 

Fans weighed in under the shared post on X, sharing their opinions on the screenshot.
