In the ongoing trial of music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, Deonte Nash, a stylist who worked closely with both Combs and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, took the stand on Wednesday, May 28.

His testimony revealed disturbing details of incidents he claims to have witnessed during Combs and Ventura's tumultuous relationship.

Combs has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking. If convicted, Combs could face 15 years to life in prison.

Back in the courtroom, the stylist recounted several instances of physical abuse, alleging that Combs once assaulted Ventura so severely that she needed stitches to her forehead.

Nash, who is a close friend of Ventura and has known her since 2008, stated that he often saw Combs's violent behaviour manifest during their encounters.

Nash said Combs often verbally abused Ventura using words such as "slut" and "ho" on her, and he saw Combs threaten to release sex tapes of Ventura in drug-fuelled "freak-offs" with male prostitutes.

The stylist told the court that Ventura had confided in him that she did not want to participate in the sex parties.

Recalling a particular incident, Nash shared that Combs showed up at Ventura's Los Angeles apartment while she was asleep on a sofa. He shouted at her and grabbed her by the hair and started beating her.

He said that Ventura, Mia, another assistant to Combs, and he ran into the bedroom to escape Combs, but he got in and continued beating Ventura. Ventura ended up hitting her head on the bedframe and was bleeding profusely.

Nash said Mia and he tried to stop Combs by jumping on his back, but he shrugged them off.

“When he noticed the blood, he just panicked,” Nash said, telling the jury that Combs then said to Mia and him, “Look what y’all made me do.”

The stylist also said he tried to call emergency services, but Combs told him a member of his security would take Ventura to a plastic surgeon for treatment.

"I saw her on a video call the next day with stitches in her eyebrow," Nash said.

As tension in the courtroom rose, Nash also made it clear that he did not wish to testify but had been subpoenaed by the court.

Nash is expected to return to the stand, followed by Combs's former personal assistant, Mia.
