Jojo Siwa has officially confirmed that she is in a relationship with Chris Hughes!
After months of online speculation, Siwa has now confirmed her romance with her former platonic soulmate.
In a recent interview with “The Guardian”, a smitten Siwa said that she’s head-over-heels in love with Hughes.
“It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him, and he’s the same way,” the 22-year-old said.
The “Dance Moms” star went on to say how happy she has been since she has been with Hughes.
She added, “Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.”
Siwa and Hughes first sparked romance rumours when they were just housemates during the "Big Brother Celebrity UK" reality show.
Fans noticed that the pair grew seemingly too close to each other and behaved more like people who are in love.
However, Siwa and Hughes shut down the romance allegations after the show ended and claimed that they are just “platonic soulmates” during their press tours.
Siwa also ended her relationship with Kath Ebbs, who spoke out and shared a video on TikTok detailing how their relationship with Siwa ended. Ebbs revealed that Siwa called off the relationship on the night of the finale of the reality show backstage.
The "Karma" singer faced online criticism for backstabbing Ebbs. However, that did not stop her relationship with Hughes from evolving.
As weeks went by, the pair started posting each other on their social media platforms, with PDA-filled pictures, adding more fuel to the romance rumours.
One could see from a mile away that Hughes and Siwa are in a romantic relationship.
Just a few days ago, Hughes shared a picture of them shirtless in bed, with Siwa lying with her eyes closed on his chest.
