In honour of her daughter’s birthday, Meghan Markle shared never-before-seen pictures of Princess Lilibet on social media.
Taking to Instagram on June 4, Markle shared a carousel post with rare black and white pictures of her little Princess.
The first picture is of Markle hugging her baby girl on a beach, while the second picture is of Markle holding her newborn, in what appears to be a few hours after giving birth.
The Duchess of Sussex shared the heart-warming birthday post, celebrating her daughter’s fourth birthday.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today, she came into our lives, and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all those sending love and celebrating her special day!” Markle captioned her post.
Fans wished Princess Lili a sweet, happy birthday on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex fan page.
“Happy birthday Princess Lili,” @lifeastrin commented.
“Happy birthday Lilibet, enjoy your day with mummy, daddy and big brother Archie,” @lindamickhale wrote.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their bundle of joy in 2021, before officially stepping down from their royal roles.
A month ago, Markle appeared on the “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” and revealed a personal tradition that she had started for both her children.
The 43-year-old revealed that each night before bed, she writes emails to her children, creating a digital time capsule filled with memories, reflections, and expressions of love.
“One of our mom friends had said to me last year that she just created sort of secret email addresses for her kids that she’ll give to them at some point in their life.
She would just send them, you know, random pictures, the pictures that you aren’t going to put in a frame,” she shared.
Markle further added that she plans to gift these email accounts to her children when they are older, perhaps at 16 or 18, offering them a glimpse into their childhood experiences and how much she loves them.
