The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” community is mourning the death of Khadiyah "KD" Lewis, who died at age 44.

Her brother, Jamaal Lewis, confirmed her death on Facebook through an emotional tribute.

"Rest In Peace To My Sister Khadiyah Lewis, She Was The Best."

According to reports online, Lewis's family said the cause of her death will not be discussed, but has requested that donations be made to mental health and suicide prevention organisations in lieu of flowers.

Lewis first graced screens in season 3 of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" as rapper Yung Joc's real estate agent and assistant.

Over the course of her appearances, her professional relationship with Joc turned into a romantic one.

Beyond being a reality TV star, Lewis was an entrepreneur. She owned and managed a real estate investment firm, a consulting agency and a financial services company.

As news of her passing spread, heartfelt tributes poured in from family, friends, and former colleagues.

Her brother, Elijah Inegbedion, expressed his grief, sharing: "Been at a loss for words for some days now. And to think that I’ll ever have the words to describe the person you’ve been and the legacy that you left behind would be erroneous."

He continued, “Long Live my sister Khadiyah Lewis. You left behind a legacy most individuals can only dream of."

Another cast member from the show, Sina Bina, wrote: "Rest in Peace Queen…condolences to her family and friends."

Fans of the show expressed their shock and sorrow as tributes filled social media.

One user commented: “What?! No way, and so unexpected.”

@nina_sunshine1 said: "You were so naturally beautiful and intelligent. You were one of my favourites on 'Love and Hip Hop'. I loved how you carried yourself. You were so classy and well-spoken. I don't know what happened, but I was so sad to hear about this loss.

"You were very impactful to this world, and I pray that you are resting in peace. Much Love ❤️ Your family and loved ones have my deepest condolences. 🙏🏽 🕊️."

Lewis's funeral will be held in her hometown of Oklahoma City on June 11 at the Earl M. Temple Memorial Chapel.
