Multi-award-winning singer Tyla is teasing new music after a huge win at the 51st Annual American Music Awards (AMAs) which took place on Monday, May 26, where she took home the Favourite Afrobeat Artist award.

The 23-year-old singer, who took home the Favourite Afrobeat Artist award at the ceremony on Monday, May 26, wasted no time in getting back to the music.

The "Water" hitmaker shared a sneak peek of her new song on Instagram, giving her fans a glimpse into the music she is creating.

In the short clip, captioned “Blurry ah video”, Tyla can be seen playing with her hair and jamming to a sound. One thing for certain is that the beat is infectious and has the potential to be another hit from the artist.

The excitement in the comment section was palpable as her fans, who are affectionately known as "Tygers" are  buzzing about the possibility of a new hit.

They were also eager to see what moves Tyla and her choreographer Litchi Hov are going to cook for the new song.

The timing of this tease could not be more perfect, coming hot on the heels of her AMA win and her most recent single “Bliss” is still climbing up the music charts. 

Before sharing the video, Tyla took to her Instagram broadcast channel, sharing how excited she is about her production studio session and celebrating her recent AMA win.

“Just finished a session, sun is coming up, AMA winner and ‘Bliss’ is out now. I love it here!!!!!! đŸ”„,” she wrote.

In addition, the AMA accolade serves as a testament to Tyla’s growing influence and popularity in the music industry, especially in the international music scene.

The “Push 2 Start” singer is showing no signs of stopping, from making history, having the most streamed African female debut album to collecting awards and securing wins. She is sure to keep filling up her award stand with many more accolades.
