During a two-hour flight delay, a young girl decided to lift passengers’ spirits by singing "How Far I’ll Go" from Disney’s Moana over the plane’s intercom, and while some found it heartwarming, others were less than thrilled.
The moment, captured by various passengers, quickly went viral.
TikToker @druziroaming shared a video of the performance with the caption, “When your Delta flight is delayed 2 hours and you circle Orlando for another 2… But then a little girl sings Moana on the crew mic and suddenly everything feels okay.”
The clip has since racked up over 21 million views.
Though some viewers were charmed by the spontaneous sing-along, others weren’t quite so moved.
“This is actually my worst nightmare and personal hell,” one commenter wrote.
Another added, “Nah this would send me over the edge.”
Even parents chimed in. “I am a mom with 2 boys and this is just a big no for me,” one mother wrote.
“An airplane is the LAST place I want to hear a Moana sing-along. Especially if we are already delayed.”
Fellow passengers soon began posting their own reactions.
Another passenger, @chloreally, expressed her confusion and frustration in a short clip, saying, “Our flight got delayed bruh. What is thisss,” while visibly irritated.
TikToker @stephtravelstories shared a video of herself and her husband looking unimpressed.
She captioned it, “My husband trying to be supportive but I wanted to scream.”
While the little girl’s performance was clearly meant to lighten the mood, reactions were sharply divided.
For some, it was a sweet moment of joy in a stressful situation.
For others, it was just another reason to wish the plane would finally take off.
