A 50-year-old flight instructor died and his passenger was injured when a microlite helicopter crashed at Heidehof on Saturday, Western Cape police said.
Warrant officer November Filander said details were sketchy but the helicopter crashed two kilometres from Gansbaai.
The SA Civil Aviation Authority will investigate the cause of the accident, he said. - Sapa
