Durban - A 64-year-old woman has died on Wednesday morning after she allegedly jumped from the 6th floor of the Cabana Beach hotel in Umhlanga.
According to the Durban Police Search and Rescue, the woman - who was not a guest at the hotel - arrived and parked her car before making her way to the 6th floor.
The woman landed on the ledge of the first floor in a confined space. She died after a few minutes before the ambulance arrived.

A hotel guest who did not want to be named said that they were not sure what happened but no one was allowed near the scene.
The hotel management said that they could not comment about the incident and had advised all staff members to do the same.
Police were able to contact the woman's son to let him know about the incident.
