Lebanon is the country of my origin and as the current war rages on, the images I see on social media are so polar opposite to what I experienced just 2 weeks before these very recent events unfortunately unfolded.

It is handmade from processed lamb and wheat with spices and served ice cold with hot fresh flat bread and raw onion.Colourful Vespas are seen all over Beirut streets and are a popular mode of transport for the young and young at heart.Beautiful beaches and stunning views are everywhere to be enjoyed by everyone.Intricate inlaid woodwork is an art form perfected by the local people.Habibi is a term of endearment used by Lebanese and Middle Eastern people meaning " my dear / my love".No one does shabby-chic quite as dignified and stylish as the Lebanese.
