The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Disciplinary Board have addressed a series of infractions during recent competitions across the continent.

The sanctions against various clubs follow a review of incidents during the two legs of the prestigious Champions League and the Confederation Cup inter-club competitions.

The Moroccan side ASFAR faced disciplinary measures for failing to maintain adequate security and using laser pointers in their Champions League match against Pyramids FC.

The club was found guilty and sentenced to play one match behind closed doors. This ruling is suspended for one year and slapped with a fine of 20,000 USD.

Algeria's CS Constantine were guilty of misconduct and the use of pyrotechnics during their clash with USM Alger.

They pay a fine of USD 15,000, and a previously suspended fee of 10,000 USD that now becomes enforceable.

Tunisia's Espérance Sportive de Tunis confronted a stern judgement due to breaches of Articles 82 and 83 of the CAF Disciplinary Code, related to unruly behaviour from supporters in their match against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Their penalty includes a hefty 150,000 USD fine, reflecting the severity of their infractions.

South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns will pay fines totalling 100,000 USD due to various breaches related to safety and security regulations during their fixture against Espérance.

The club must also comply with the mandate to enforce stricter safety protocols in their upcoming matches.

MC Alger, another Algerian club, were slapped with numerous sanctions for their misconduct.

Their next two matches must be played behind closed doors and have incurred several fines that amount to 40,000 USD.

Their assistant coach Mohamed Khezrouni received a four-match suspension.

Orlando Pirates were implicated for security shortcomings during their match against MC Alger. They were fined USD 50,000 and faced sanctions against their club officials and players.

Pyramids FC and USM Alger were also found guilty of security-related breaches, with fines of 15,000 USD imposed on Pyramids, and USM Alger ordered to play one match behind closed doors.
