Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa has announced a R1. 44 billion allocation to provinces for disaster relief following recent floods, winds and wildfires that have claimed 40 lives nationwide. The funds will support immediate relief efforts and reconstruction of damaged infrastructure across affected communities.
