After some time off acting, Ngema is finally returning to acting and hints at a few deals being in the pipeline. Ngema is all into influencing, which has been great for her; she is one of the faces for Luvme Hair.

Ngema recalls starting in the entertainment industry as an actress and later entering the world of influencing, which has not been without its challenges. “It’s been very interesting, because I have learnt to evolve, I have learnt to look at what other people are doing and learn from them, especially the great influencers.”

She adds that she always advises other actors to learn how to work social media because that’s how a person attracts brands that want to work with them.

Ngema is a woman of many talents, she is a musician who even plays instruments, the drums and the keys. Music is her “first love,” and she hints at wanting to do more in the space.

“Yes, you are going to see a bit more, it’s going to be interesting because I want to do more than just stand and sing or dance. I want to incorporate things I normally do, like playing the keys, into more performances.

She first started showcasing her singing and dancing skills in 2019 when she released her debut single, “Thola Khona”. Ngema has even released music with the father of her children Tino Chinyani and has worked with Malawi’s award-winning Afro Pop singer Dan Lu.
