In an ambitious move set to redefine the boutique cruise experience, Emerald Cruises has announced the introduction of two new cutting-edge superyachts, Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara, scheduled to debut in 2027.
This comes on the heels of the anticipated debut of the superyacht Emerald Kaia in 2026, signaling a bold expansion into luxury water travel.
The new superyachts will each accommodate 128 guests in all-suite accommodations and provide an expansive Sky Deck featuring private cabanas, panoramic vistas and a unique swim-up marina platform.
Emerald Raiya will debut in the Seychelles during winter 2026/27 before exploring the Eastern Mediterranean in summer 2027.
It will subsequently return to the Seychelles for winter 2027/28.
Meanwhile, Emerald Xara will launch its inaugural season in the Mediterranean before making its way to the Caribbean for winter 2027/28, joining Emerald Kaia as it heads to warmer waters.
"These new sailings allow us to expand the guest experience into more warm-weather seasons. It’s a powerful extension of our boutique superyacht portfolio," said Dominika Lange, general manager, sales & marketing EMEA.
As part of this rollout, guests who were originally booked on the Kaia for the Seychelles will be contacted to transfer their sailing to the newly inaugurated Raiya.
2027 also marks a significant expansion into the river cruise sector.
Following the 2026 release of Emerald Astra, the brand is set to introduce the custom-designed Emerald Lumi on the Seine River.
