On Sunday, September 14, the Oos-Kerk on van Zyl Street in Robertson will resonate with the splendid sounds of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, as they present a concert titled “Music for all”.
This celebrated assembly of 55 professional musicians is set to inspire audiences with a carefully curated selection of popular classical pieces that speak to the heart and soul of community bonding through music.
Hosted by Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary, this event aims not only to entertain but also to uplift spirits during these challenging times. With music known for its power to unite people, attendees will undoubtedly find a sense of connection and joy within the melodies performed.
Following a triumphant concert earlier this year, the orchestra is anticipated to attract a full house, making early ticket procurement essential. Tickets will be available starting in June at several locations, including:

Contributions toward sponsored tickets will be warmly welcomed, having the potential to make a significant difference for individuals who may otherwise miss out on this transformative experience. The community is encouraged to join in this celebration of “Music for all” and help amplify the impact of their generous contributions, ensuring that the healing power of music is shared widely.
